Crow, 51, has said she believes her tumor was caused by her cell phone.

Like Armstrong, Sheryl Crow is a cancer survivor. Crow, who underwent surgery and radiation therapy for breast cancer in 2006, was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor called a meningioma last year. Crow, 51, has said she believes her tumor was caused by her cell phone.

Report: Sheryl Crow told feds she saw Lance Armstrong blood-dope

In Wheelmen, Wall Street Journal reporters Reed Albergotti and Vanessa O'Connell say Crow witnessed Armstrong blood-doping during a 2004 trip to Belgium aboard his private jet.
"Rather than try to hide the transfusion from her, Armstrong was completely open about it," wrote the authors (via NY Daily News Oct. 10). "He trusted that Crow would have no desire to tell the press or anyone else about the team's doping program. He explained that it was simply part of the sport — that all cyclists were doing the same thing."
Crow and Armstrong began dating in 2003, got engaged in 2005 and broke up in 2006. In late 2011, Crow was contacted by federal prosecutors during their criminal investigation of Armstrong.
Under pressure from Food and Drug Administration officials (and in exchange for immunity from prosecution), Crow revealed she saw Lance blood-doping. It's unclear why Sheryl needed immunity, since she didn't inject Armstrong herself and did not gain financially from his doping activities.
In August 2012, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency stripped Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles after he declined to challenge the regulatory body's charges. In January 2013, Armstrong admitted to Oprah Winfreythat he had doped during much of his cycling career after years of vehement denials.
Lance, 42, confessed that he had started taking performance-enhancing drugs in the mid-1990s and had used testosterone, EPO and blood transfusions during his career. Armstrong, who's being sued for fraud by the Department of Justice, recently returned his bronze medal from the 2000 Olympics.
